Community Fundraising Executive

WR Fundraising Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to join a local charity in a dynamic community fundraising and events role.

 

Working from the UK office as part of a small, friendly team, we are looking for an inspiring fundraising professional to develop a portfolio of community fundraising activities and events from within the charity’s strong supporter base.

 

This is a very exciting new role within the fundraising department and we are looking for candidates keen to develop their career within events and/or community fundraising.

You may have experience as a community fundraiser / regional fundraiser or in events / corporate partnerships, or individual giving. What important to us is that we find someone who can work collaboratively in a small team and get stuck in to a position with bags of potential to develop.

 

Duties will include:

  • Lead in the planning and delivery of a portfolio of community fundraising activities and events, including challenge and mass participation

  • Grow fundraising income from the charity’s community or supporters

  • Recruit individuals and community groups to participate in challenge and mass participation events

  • Build strong relationships with supporters, stewarding them, providing excellent supporter care and encouraging regular giving

  • Work with the digital communications team to promote fundraising activities

  • Manage various giving platforms which includes Just Giving, Facebook Giving etc.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of community fundraising

  • Demonstrable experience of managing a broad range of fundraising events

  • Experience of planning and delivering supporter care programmes

  • Experience of recruiting supporters through various channels, including digital

  • Experience and willingness to maintain CRM and process Just Giving pages

  • Knowledge of events fundraising, including mass participation and challenge

  • Experience of building successful relationships in a fundraising capacity
