Charity Events Coordinator

At an exciting time of development that includes new state of the art premises, we are recruiting for a Charity Events Coordinator to join its small, friendly event team.
We’re looking for an experienced events fundraising person with experience to assist in a range of events from gala balls to challenge fundraising events ensuring success and smooth running including ticket sales, venues, sponsorship and risk management.
This is a not a 9-5 role, it involves out of hours working on events across the UK
Duties will include:
Develop new events in line with the Event’s strategy, meeting participant and income targets
Create relevant supporting documents for events to include: guest packs, design, PR and marketing briefs, briefings for guests and VIPS.
On the day event management.
Source prizes for fundraising.
Sponsorship and event sales to ensure maximum sales at events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced events professional, with a proven track record of coordinating profitable events.
Applicants will need:
2 years or more experience in an Event role within a charity
Experienced in delivering events with limited budgets and to strict ROI targets.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Full, clean driving licence, willingness to travel through the UK to attend events including hours outside of the usual 9 to 5
