Fundraising Executive - Challenge Events

WR Fundraising Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to join a global charity in a dynamic challenge events and mass participation fundraising role.

 

Working from the UK office as part of a small, friendly team, we are looking for an inspiring fundraising professional to develop a calendar of high profile mass participation events and challenge events from with the charity’s strong supporter base.

 

This is a very exciting new role within the fundraising department and we are looking for candidates keen to develop their career within mass participation and challenge fundraising.

You may have experience in corporate partnerships, individual giving or as a community fundraiser / regional fundraiser. What important to us is that we find someone who can work collaboratively in a small team and get stuck in to a position with bags of potential to develop.

 

Duties will include:

  • Lead in the planning and delivery of a portfolio of events, including challenge and mass participation

  • Grow fundraising income from the charity’s community, mass participation and challenge events

  • recruiting volunteers to participate in challenge and mass participation community events in the UK and across the globe

  • Build strong relationships with supporters, stewarding them, providing excellent supporter care and encouraging regular giving

  • Work with the digital communications team to promote fundraising activities

  • Manage various giving platforms which includes Just Giving, Facebook Giving etc.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing a broad range of fundraising events

  • Experience of planning and delivering supporter care programmes

  • Experience of recruiting supporters through various channels, including digital

  • Knowledge of events fundraising, including mass participation and challenge

  • Availability to travel within the UK

  • Experience of building successful relationships in a fundraising capacity
