  • Work closely with the CEO on commissioning bids for funding, advising on fundraising best practice, and planning long-term income and expenditure

  • Develop communications channels that will harness the work of the charity effectively

  • Research and create compelling fundraising proposals for a range of funders

  • Build new relationships with a wide range of trust and statutory funders, and effectively nurture existing relationships for sustainable growth

  • Identify potential opportunities through corporate partnerships and CSR initiatives

  • Developing supporter communications and marketing initiatives in line with identified priorities within the fundraising strategy

  • Demonstrate impact through quantitative and qualitative reporting

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be an experienced fundraiser with expertise in trusts, foundations, and statutory funding, and experience in other forms of income generation, such as corporate partnerships

  • Have a track record of working at a strategic level, designing and delivering an effective fundraising strategy

  • Be a brilliant communicator, with exceptional written and spoken English

  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of donor stewardship, designing donor journeys, and effective account management

  • Be a driven self-starter, able to work independently and manage a varied and diverse project portfolio

  • Be excited about the organisation, the opportunities it presents, and the impact your work will have
