Head of Performance and Impact

WR has a unique role for an inspiring performance manager to drive forward the culture and impact of an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ educational charity that is transforming the lives of young people and women around the capital impacted by social inequality.


This key leadership role will work across the organisation to oversee the development, performance management and impact of new and existing programmes, managing all aspects of delivery from roll-out to evaluation / quality assurance and ensuring the greatest possible impact.


As a member of the Senior Management you will be a champion for driving a culture that supports the very best possible outcomes through the use of data, information management and impact measurement. 


Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and delivering an impact strategy for the organisation that will be delivered alongside the operational plan and create a culture of success

  • Ensure the embedding of the organisation’s vision, values, and culture internally and externally to achieve the strategic targets

  • Project manage the new programme design, working collaboratively and consultatively to facilitate the best possible contribution and buy-in, and secure the successful delivery of key objectives

  • Design an effective impact measurement system, monitoring key performance metrics to identify and overcome challenges alongside celebrating successes

  • Provide detailed insight internally and for key partners to inform changes and influence key decisions

  • Champion a culture of impact measurement, accountability, and development across the organisation


This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an inspirational charity. We see this as an ideal role for an experienced Performance Manager or Analyst /  Information Manager / Quality Assurance Manager / Programme Manager / Project Manager with appropriate skills, knowledge and experience in the charity or education sectors.


The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be an analytical and conceptual thinker with proven experience and expertise in performance management and quality assurance, preferably within the third sector

  • Be able to analyse and present complex information in a wide variety of methods to drive impact

  • Be a strong communicator, able to challenge, and influence others

  • Be a strategic thinker, problem solver, and project manager, confident in finding solutions, embedding change, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Have proven experience developing impact management tools, analysing and presenting results

  • Be a confident leader who inspires others and models the vision and culture of the organisation
