Individual Giving Manager

A rare opportunity has come up to join one of the most recognised charity brands in the UK in an individual giving role. This key position will be at the forefront of delivering national campaigns, shaping strategy, and supporting the team through an exciting time of transition.

 

You will be fully immersed in all aspects of a large individual giving programme, initially with a focus on donor retention, and growing further into all elements of acquisition and leadership. Working collaboratively across the fundraising department team and supporting a dedicated individual giving officer, this role would be ideal for a senior officer looking to step into management, or a manager keen to join one of the UK’s household names in the charity sector.

 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Ensure all individual giving is delivered in line with budget and organisational strategy

  • Developing and delivering campaigns across a range of channels to retain and recruit supporters

  • Developing and implementing a strategy for direct marketing campaigns

  • Leading on the creation and delivery of timelines for individual giving activity

  • Driving the promotion of partnerships and products through a wide range of PR, marketing, and online pathways

  • Actively engaging stakeholders and gaining feedback to improve programme delivery

  • To act as an ambassador internally and externally, promoting the supporter experience and fundraising across delivery and project implementation

  

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be an outstanding communicator, able to demonstrate diplomacy, rapport, and sensitivity

  • Have a track record in designing, delivering, and managing fundraising campaigns successfully

  • Have demonstrable experience of creating innovative briefs, providing creative feedback and editorial direction

  • Be motivated and driven, with a drive to achieve business vision and purpose

  • Be resilient, flexible, and adaptable, able to manage projects from inception to outcome

  • Take an evidence-based approach to decisions and strategy
