Marketing & Social Media Assistant

WR Fundraising Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local charity specialising in vocational training for those impacted by mental health issues.


We are looking for a Part Time Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join a small team and assist with marketing & social media communications in order to increase engagement for the charity.


Duties to include:

  • Take the lead for all forms of social media, ensuring a high level of activity is maintained

  • Produce & distribute regular newsletters, press releases & newsworthy stories for local media

  • Write, design & deliver creative e-marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.

  • Contribute to the events diary, ensuring all events are fully publicised

  • Undertake specific research projects to help identify possible relationships with a wide range of community & business groups

  • Help identify & build relationships with individuals who have expressed an interest in supporting the charity


Ideal candidates must have:

  • A self starting attitude

  • A relevant degree or proven track record within a similar role

  • A creative eye with expertise in successful delivery of marketing campaigns

  • Knowledge and direct experience of social network marketing

  • Confident personality and communication / presentation skills

  • Ability to write compelling content

£22,000 per annum pro rata


Part Time –24 hours per week – flexible days/times
