Partnerships Manager

A London charity transforming lives impacted by social and economic inequality is looking for an exceptional individual to take up the role of Partnerships Manager. This exciting role will be engaging with corporate partners across London to secure work placements and apprenticeship opportunities for the only charity in London providing an end to end service for disadvantaged young people and women to get them into full-time employment in 12/18 months.

 

You’ll play an integral part in securing valuable partners and managing the relationships with them on behalf of the charity. If you have a passion for working in the charity sector with young people not in education, employment, or training, and helping to generate life-changing career opportunities, then this role could be for you.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Working proactively with employers across London, building relationships and creating opportunities for learners

  • Using a wide range of communications channels to reach out and engage with new and existing partners in the business sector

  • Showcase the work of the organisation through arranging and delivering presentations

  • Effectively manage relationships with partners, supporting their needs, creating new opportunities, and feeding back to the wider team at the charity

  • Actively work with a range of candidates to highlight their talent and ability to employers, building positive and collaborative relationships

  • Maintaining a high standard of record keeping, ensuring data is accurate and up to date

  • Support employers with service account needs, helping to ensure compliance with funding requirements

  • Engage employers with a range of feedback tools, and work collaboratively with the team to ensure the organisation achieves its objectives

 

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be a proven relationship builder, able to work with senior staff members at a range of organisations

  • Be a strong communicator, confident in presenting, writing, and engaging with a range of audiences

  • Be able to think and act strategically, while running an effective day to day operation that delivers against long-term vision

  • Be well-organised, adaptable, and resilient, able to manage a varied range of account holders effectively and with empathy  

  • Understand how to work effectively with NEET and hard-to-reach young people

  • Be a passionate advocate of the charity’s vision, ethos, and values
