Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager

WR Fundraising Recruitment are working with a charity who are looking to find a talented fundraiser for a new role in the organisation. An integral part of the fundraising team, you will be engaging with both individuals and organisations to secure high value gifts for this national charity. This is a great time to join the team, with a recent new brand launch and a donor pipeline prime for development.

 

This role will be busy, and will appeal to someone with an eye for an opportunity, who is able to effectively communicate scientific data to a range of stakeholders, and act as an ambassador to partners. You will need to be confident, passionate, and a natural relationship builder, able to engage donors, communicate impact, and deliver a compelling case for support.

 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing and delivering a strategy for high value partnerships, both with individuals and corporates

  • Design and implement a stewardship programme that builds long-lasting relationships with partners and donors

  • Create a range of exciting engagement opportunities to develop networks with high level donors

  • Work collaboratively with the charity’s senior leadership team, trustees and wider team to develop opportunities and relationships to their full potential

  • Communicate a compelling case for support through a range of channels, which meet the needs of existing and prospective supporters

  • Evaluate and monitor relationships to ensure long-term sustainability and value

 

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be tenacious and passionate, able to deliver a strong case for support effectively and with a proven record of securing and growing high level support

  • Have experience of personally working with major donors, both from the individual and corporate environment

  • Be a consummate relationship builder, brilliant communicator and influencer, able to negotiate confidently and successfully

  • Have experience of developing and implementing effective fundraising strategy

  • Be confident translating scientific information into engaging, high impact presentations

  • Be able to manage a range of projects across a broad selection of stakeholders, with a high level of accuracy and ethics
