Regional Fundraiser

A well-established and prominent children’s charity is looking for a new regional fundraiser, to drive forward partnerships with local community groups, institutions, schools, and businesses across its area of operations.

 

This diverse and exciting role will put you at the forefront of the charity’s fundraising and community relationships, delivering new initiatives across the region. It is a great opportunity for a proactive fundraiser, who is passionate, engaging, and able to communicate the vision of this fantastic charity effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Managing and delivering regional fundraising initiatives across a range of giving methods

  • Collaborative working across the fundraising and events team to identify opportunities to uplift donors and build long-term partnerships

  • Developing relationships across the region with new and existing supporters

  • Taking a proactive role in recruitment for the charity events programme

  • Building the ‘Charity of the Year’ adoptions around the region

  • Exploring opportunities for networking amongst local and regional businesses, developing new corporate partnerships and employee giving initiatives

  • Recruiting and developing volunteers to support the regional fundraising and event programme

  • Working with the marketing team to promote fundraising initiatives and events across digital and print channels, including social media

 

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • Experienced in a fundraising role

  • A confident and skilled communicator, able to present ideas, updates, and pitches to a wide range of stakeholders

  • Able to deliver compelling and engaging presentations

  • A persuasive negotiator

  • A skilled networker, able to build, manage and develop relationships with both individual and company supporters

  • Excellent at managing time and projects across the charity’s territory
