Trusts Fundraising Executive

WR Fundraising Recruitment is recruiting a Trusts Fundraising Executive for a regional charity with big ambitions to drive the income generation strategy forward and help to manage all trusts and foundations, ideally working toward multi-year partnerships with historic and new funding bodies.

 

At an exciting time of development, we are looking for an experienced trusts and grants fundraising professional with experience in achieving 6 figure grants from trusts and other grant giving bodies.

 

This position is open to women only under the Equality Act 2010, schedule 9, part 1

Duties will include:

  • Manage current large grants, working collaboratively with the CEO on impact reporting and evaluation

  • Build relationships, multiyear partnerships and income from existing trusts and foundations

  • Research, develop and maintain new relationships to secure funding

  • Write tailored, inspirational applications and project reports addressing grant-making priorities or requirements as specified

  • Develop and maintain reporting and application systems and coordinate information with regional offices

  • Liaise closely with senior managers and teams to plan and develop the strongest possible proposals and build relationships

  • Evaluate, monitor and report back to donors in a timely fashion on projects which have been funded

 

We are seeking candidates with a strong record of achievement in trust, foundation and grant fundraising for this exciting opportunity. The Trust Fundraising Executive role is key to the development of this innovative charity’s strategy. We’re looking for candidates with a proven track record in successfully obtaining 5 & 6 figure and multi-year grants.

Applicants will need:

  • Experience of developing income from trusts, foundations and grant-giving bodies

  • Established trust fundraising experience and evidence of securing income from trusts and foundations

  • Experience of developing and implementing a trust fundraising programme, including acquisition, retention and development

  • Ability to write compelling and innovative proposals and funding reports

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences and experience of telephone pitching and making presentations

  • Demonstrable ability to develop relationships with grant- making organisations
